Over 800 million people around the world, which is more than one out of ten people, lives in a slum. They live a life of poverty in a place where medical healthcare and other forms of assistance are limited, violence and crime, pervasive pollution and poor hygiene could cost them their lives. MSF takes you to a journey through five slums in Nairobi (Kenya), Karachi (Pakistan), Johannesburg (South Africa), Dhaka (Bangladesh) and Port-au-Prince (Haiti), to see what it is like to live in a slum.
